Research Interests

I'm interested in the contemporary and future carbon cycle from regional to global scales. My research focuses on the ocean component of the Earth System and its role in nutrient and carbon cycling and ultimately climate. As research tools, I'm using a hierarchy of numerical physical-biogeochemical models.

Please find additional information about my past research activities on my Research page. More information on the research activities of the Environmental Physics group can be found in the group's Research section.
